The CH dataset contains information collected through the Children Aged 5–17 Years Questionnaire of the Nepal Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (NMICS) 2024. The dataset includes information on the demographic characteristics, education, school attendance, learning environment, functional difficulties, child labour, child discipline, mental health and psychosocial well-being, parental support, access to information and communication technology, and other indicators related to the well-being and development of children and adolescents aged 5–17 years. The file serves as the primary child-level dataset for the analysis of education, protection, disability, and adolescent well-being indicators.
