Abstract
Nepal Commercial Coffee Survey 2019 conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), it is the first survey of Nepal. The main objective of the NCCS 2019 is to estimate the Production, sell and use of Coffee as well as contribution on GDP. The other specific objectives are to provide the statistical information of Nature, position, distribution and consumption of Coffee. Respondents of the survey are commercial coffee holders. The survey employs a purposive sample selection procedure from Random Sampling Methods. Holders are selected from 32 districts of all 4 provinces . The survey used only traditional paper questionnaires for data collection. The findings from the survey will be helptul to Nepal Govt. & Stakeholders for further policy making & improvement of quality of its future products and services.

Supervision
The field work was supervised by head of Statisticsal office of respective district. Central supervisons from CBS were also conducted in selected disrticts for cross-check and validation of data.
Data Collection Notes
A 5-day training programm for the enumerators was held on questionaire, manual before conductiong the survey. The pre-test for the survey took place in Kavre, Kaski, Syanjha, Gulmi, Palpa, Dhankuta districts where 7 questionnaires were filled up. A total of 31 interviewers, 20 supervisors were used in this survey. Data collectioon took place over a period of about 4 months from 1 december 2018 to 31 march 2019. Each enumerator took on an average 2 hours to fill the questionaire.

For the consistency of data required logics were set in the data entry programme. For the processing and analysis of data SPSS and STATA programme were employed.

Desktop data entry programme was designed for data entry.
