The fie contains data for Section 6. Employment of the CME 2001/02 questionnaire. Information in this section include number of persons engaged by sex and nationality. Persons engaged are classified into the following groups:

1. Proprietors and active partners
2. Unpaid members or family members
3. Operative workers
4. Administrative workers
5. Technical workers

The file contains data for Section 7. Production, Purchase and Sales of Fuel, Water and Electricity of the CME 2001/02 questionnaire. Types of fuel included are:

1. Fire Wood
2. Coal/Charcoal
3. Diesel
4. Petrol
5. Kerosene
6. L.P. Gas
7. Water
8. Electricity Purchase
9. Electricity Production
10. Electricity Sales
11. Other Fuel

The file contains data for Section 8. Cost of Industrial Services of the CME 2001/02 questionnaire. Industrial services are classified into 3 subgroups as follows:

1. Payment for contract work done by others
2. Payment for repair and maintenance
3. Cost of goods purchased for resale in same condition

The file contains data for Section 9. Purchase of Raw Materials of the CME 2001/02 questionnaire. CPC 1.0 coding scheme was used to denote raw materials. The quantity and amount of raw material purchased is classified into 3 categories i.e. domestic, India and third country.

The file contains data for Section 10. Sales and Production of Products of the CME 2001/02 questionnaire. CPC 1.0 coding scheme is used to denote the product. The quantity and value of product sold are classified into 3 categories i.e. domestic, India and third country.

the file contains data for Section 11. Receipts from Industrial Services of the CME 2001/02 questionnaire. Industrial services are classified into 3 subgroups as follows:

1. Income received from contract work done for others
2. Income received from annual maintenance
3. Income received from goods sold in same condition as purchased

The file contains data for Section 12. Stocks of the CME 2001/02 queestionnaire. The stock value contains both opening stock and closing stock of values of each establishment. The stock values of fuel, raw materials, finished goods,
semi-finished goods, and the sold goods as purchased are included in this section.

The file contains data for Section 13. Cost of Non-Industrial Services of the CME 2001/02 questionnaire. The categories of non-industrial expenses are as follows:

The file contains data for Sections 17. Utilization of Production Capacity and 18. Problems of the CME 2001/02 questionnaire. Section 18 contains a multiple choice question of problems faced by etablishments during the reference period.
