        This survey has aimed at estimating the number of commercial coffee firms/ holdings employment generated by this sector, area cultivated, cost of green tea leaves, olders' percetions and expectations on various issues related to commercial tea farhe findings from the survey can be used for esimating the contribution made by this sector in national economy. The survey has captured the data from selected commercial firms/holdings on demographic information, use of ornanic farming, employment status, cultivated area, production and cost of fresh cherry, debt and training status, holders' perception on climate change and its empact on coffee farming, pre-mployment status a d holders' attitudes towards various coffee related issues are the major contents of the survey.

          The listing form was based on CAPI whereas main survey questionnaire was paper based. Both the listing form and questionnaire were in Nepali language. The main questionnaire was administered for capturing the data on the issues as mentioned on the survey contents and scope.

          <![CDATA[There was a pre-test of the questionnaire for the modification  before  implementing in the field work.There was a tarining for the eunerators as well as supervisors for the uniformity and data quality. There was regular field supervisions for mainting the quality of field work. The supervisors assited the enumerators for the improvement and quality of field work. The average interview time was 1 hour and 45 minutes.]]>
