The main objective of the SUSS 2017 is to assess the level of satisfaction of users with the current state of official statistics produced by CBS. The other specific objectives are to access quality levels of services and products provided by CBS, examine service delivery systems, identify constraints and propose recommendations for improvement. Respondents of the survey are partner agencies of National Statistical System which supply or use data produced by CBS as well as national and international data user of CBS. The survey employs a purposive sample selection procedure from six groups of users affiliated to: 1. Government abd semi-government organizations, 2. NGO\/INGO and international development parters, 3. Academic and research institutes, 4. Financial, business, trade and commercial organizations, 5. Media and press, 6. Political parties and civil societies. Users are selected from 49 districts of all 7 provinces where CBS statistics using agencies and organizations are located in greater numbers.The survey used both traditional paper questionnaires and modern IT based CAPI and email correspondence with e-questionnaires for data collection. Paper questionnaires are used in districts outside Kathamndu, CAPI is used in Kathmandu valley and the pdf fill-in eQuestionnaire is sent to registered users located inside and outside of country via email. The questionnaire is divided into 7 sections as follows: \n\nSection 1. Introduction\nSection 2. Use of CBS data and publication\nSection 3: Quality of CBS statistics\nSection 4: User perspective in CBS website\nSection 5: User perspective on CBS statistical services\nSection 6: Services of CBS statistics office in district\nSection 7: User's feedback","coll_situation":"A 5-day training programm for the enumerators was held on questionaire, manual, tablet operation and data entry procedure before conductiong the survey. The pre-test for the survey took place in Kavre district where 15 questionnaires were filled up. A total of 35 interviewers, 30 supervisors were used in this survey. Data collectioon took place over a period of about  3 months from 26 feburary 2017 to 29 may 2017. Each enumerator took on an average 20 minites to fill the questionaire. Some questionnair were received via email.","act_min":"The field work of Kathmandu valley was supervised by supervisor team of publication, dissemination and library section of CBS. The field work in districts was supervised by head of Statisticsal office of respective district.
