Besides the main frame, the lists of currently running star hotels, resorts, hostels, homestay, catering and party palace were updated to the main-frame. Those lists were obtained from Department of tourism, Hotel Association of Nepal (HAN), Hostel Association, Homestay Federation, and from other associations. Information was obtained through face-to-face interviews with owners, managers, or authorized representatives of the establishments.\n\nThe survey collected information on establishment characteristics, employment, wages and salaries, revenue, expenditure, assets, accommodation capacity, and other operational details. Both registered and unregistered establishments engaged in accommodation and food service activities were included within the survey scope.\n\nEnumerators received training before fieldwork and followed standardized procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy of data collection. Supervisors regularly monitored field operations and conducted validation checks.
