Description
Definition
The 14 strata for sample selection constitute 5 rural hilly areas of each development region, 5 rural terai areas of each development region, 3 urban areas for kathmandu valley, other hill urban and terai urban, and 1 mountain area.
For analytical purposes, the two hill areas and two terai areas of mid and far western development regions have been merged separately to form 2 domains and rest of the 10 strata have been treated as a separate domain. So they constitute 12 analytical domains for further analysis and estimation purposes.
